Now Available: Free Apps for Radio CorMariae!!!
Update: iOS (iPhone & iPad) version now available
"An increasing amount of listeners are turning to their Smartphones and Tablets when it comes to checking out their favorite internet or terrestrial radio station. There are many radio streaming Apps available today on the market (generic players, directories etc.) but these can carry thousands of other stations: why not have a customized App just for your station alone...?" (Viastreaming.com/mobile).
We are very pleased to make these Apps available to our listeners! We want it to be easy for them to connect to the live stream of the radio wherever they are, that is, wherever they bring their smartphone.
On the main tab of the app is the play/pause control for the audio streaming with volume control. At the top of this screen is the current program title and its scheduled time. The other screens, easily accessible via buttons at the bottom, are the Facebook and Twitter pages of the station, the station's website (mobile friendly pages), and a contact page. So now it is so easy to post on Facebook or Twitter while listening to a program on the radio. The best part of the App is the beautiful image -- an image focusing on Our Lady's Immaculate Heart with Jesus and Mary looking on it from each side.

Radio CorMariae's Launch covered in the Newspaper |

The following article was published by the (New Bedford) Standard Times shortly before the official launch of Radio CorMariae
By Linda Andrade Rodrigues
NEW BEDFORD — After a prayer-filled journey of three years, the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate of Our Lady's Chapel and their lay apostolate will launch their new Catholic radio station Friday, March 25, the Feast of the Annunciation.
The kickoff and initial broadcast of Radio CorMariae (Latin for heart of Mary) at 88.5 FM (WPMW) will take place at 6:30 p.m.
"Bishop George Coleman graciously agreed to come and preside over a prayer service at Our Lady's Chapel, which will consist of Evening Prayer and Eucharistic Benediction," said the Rev. Louis Maximilian Mary, who serves as Father Guardian at the chapel and the general manager of the studio. "Our plan is to broadcast live."

Mission Statement
The mission of Radio CorMariae, operated by the Franciscans of the Immaculate, is to bring all souls to the Heart of Jesus in the “shortest, surest, most beautiful way” ( St. Maximilian M. Kolbe) – through the Heart of Mary, His Mother – for the maximum glory of God. In following the example of our Seraphic Father St. Francis of Assisi, Radio CorMariae is faithful to our Holy Father, the Pope, and to the Magisterial teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.
