Second Annual New Bedford RosaryC2C

Sunday, October 13, Fort Taber, 2:30 – 5:30 pm

We hope to see many prayer warriors and people of good will and faith at the Second Annual New Bedford RosaryC2C, on Sunday, October 13, at Fort Taber Park, on the southern lawn, from 2:30 – 5:30 pm, for an afternoon of community prayer, hymns, talks, and fellowship.

The turnout at last year’s event was better than expected, despite little prior publicity and some worrisome clouds, which later gave way to a glorious setting sun once the Rosary had been prayed. Blessed Mother Mary was present among us, even in the form of a small statue of Our Lady of Fatima offered by a devout family and placed on the Radio Cor Mariae event table for public veneration.

Learning from that experience, this year Our Lady will be processed in, accompanied by children dressed as the shepherd children of Fatima. We hope thus to give her a proper welcome and place her in the position of honor, center stage, to kick off our prayerful vigil of intercession for the nation, our families, the Church, and our community (so be sure to be on the lawn by 2:30).

Only one important element remains to be secured, that only you can provide: your loving presence. Please come, and bring your family and loved ones with you. Consider reaching out to an elderly or handicapped person, or someone who just needs a word of encouragement, or perhaps a lift to the event, and invite them along.

Let’s make this a powerful action of charity and faith, and give Our Blessed Mother the opportunity to prove herself our powerful Advocate and Intercessor.
